Julie Larson, Patient Care Coordinator
Julie is a Patient Care Coordinator. She has worked in retail most of her life as a General Manager. In 2016 she decided to transition into a new career. She has always been very passionate about people, and wanted to work in healthcare all her life. She is very interested in helping people achieve their goals and Physical Therapy was once a route she almost took. Now She is excited to be part of a wonderful team that has her goals and interests in mind! Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, massage therapy, being outdoors and traveling.
Karen Anderson, PTA
Karen is a Physical Therapist Assistant that moved here from Colorado where she worked in outpatient rehab since 2011. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University in 2008 with an emphasis in sports medicine. Karen has mostly worked in Outpatient care, specializing in manual therapy techniques, sports injury rehab/prevention, car accidents, work injuries and chronic pain. After relocating to Wisconsin with her husband and two large Malamute dogs in May 2016 she joined Optimal Physical Therapy! Outside of work she enjoys exploring the state of Wisconsin, playing volleyball, mountain biking and wakesurfing.
Nathaniel D. Hoover, PT, DPT, OCS
Raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Nate Hoover earned his Bachelor’s degree from UW-La Crosse in Exercise Sports Science and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UW- Madison. He then completed the UW-Meriter Orthopedic PT Residency and is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. In addition, he is trained in triggerpoint dry needling which complements his manual therapy treatment approach for individuals of all ages. When not treating his patients, Dr. Hoover enjoys golfing, hunting, softball, traveling and spending time with his family/friends (including his rescue Redbone Coonhound, Harley)
Grace Ward, PT Aide
Grace is a student PT from Waterloo, WI. She recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish. She is currently awaiting admission to graduate school for Physical Therapy at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Every year she travels to Antigua, Guatemala where she participates in an orthopaedic surgery trip funded by Partners in Medical Missions. There she interprets Spanish as well as aids in the physical therapy and rehab of post-operative patients. In her free time she loves to travel, backpack, slackline, spend time with her dog and horses or anything else that gets her outdoors!
Jennifer Jeschke, PT, DPT, CMPT, MFDc
Jennifer Jeschke, DPT is a Wisconsin native and an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. She received her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University, and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Areas of special interest and expertise include orthopedic and sports medicine, work injury rehabilitation, and injury prevention. In her free time she loves to play volleyball and spend time with her 2 dogs.
