Head & Neck Injuries & Pain

Symptoms

Spending considerable time in front of computers or mobile devices may cause serious health issues. One of the most widespread health issues today is neck pain. Neck pain can generally be grouped into one of three categories: mechanical neck pain, radiculopathy, and whiplash.

At least 70% of the global population will suffer from neck pain at some point in life. Women have reported more neck pain incidents than men.

Pain of any type that occurs anywhere in the head is called a headache. Most people think medication when a headache occurs.  Physical therapy is very effective with all types of headaches.

  • Cervicogenic (also called muscle-spasm headaches).
  • Migraine and cluster.
  • Cranial neuralgias, facial pain, and other headaches.

39 million Americans including adults and children suffer from headaches.  Thank mom and dad, as headaches can be inherited, too.
