Why It’s Important to Check Your Insurance Before Your Appointment

At our office, we want every patient to feel confident and informed when it comes to their care-and that includes understanding how your visit will be covered financially. While we accept most major insurance plans, it’s always best to verify your benefits directly with your insurance provider before your appointment.

Insurance Can Be Tricky

Even though we do our best to check eligibility and coverage, the information insurance companies provide is not always guaranteed. Benefits can vary based on the type of plan you have, your deductible status, or even changes to your coverage you might not be aware of yet.

Because of this, we strongly encourage all patients to:

  • Call their insurance provider before their visit.
  • Ask if Optimal Physical Therapy is in-network.
    • If not, check to see if you have out-of-network benefits
  • Confirm coverage for the physical therapy services you’re receiving.

Self-Pay Options for More Accessible Care

Don’t have insurance? Or just want a simpler alternative? We offer affordable self-pay options that can sometimes be more cost-effective depending on your situation. We believe healthcare should be accessible, and we’re happy to provide transparent pricing and flexible options to make that possible.
